First chapter of the book "things fall apart"

In this first chapter the main parts are the description of Okonkwo and the the breve explanation if how his father was.
The chapter gives a physical description of Okonkwo"He was tall and huge, and his bushy eyebrows..." p.3 and also a description of his behavior "and whenever hi was angry...he would use his fits." p 3
In this chapter, 2 sayings appear " the sun will shine on those who stand before it shines on those who kneel under them" and "the child that washes his hands he could eat with kings" this means that after a kid pays everything and stays clean of anything bas he could be respected.
